How long you give providers to respond to a job request is up to you. Depending on your business type, it might be as short as 10 minutes or as long as 24 hours. You can always change it, too, if you find your current response time isn't working.
If a customer has specified a provider during booking, they always get the first refusal. If that provider declines the job and the customer has selected the replacement provider option, the job request is then sent out to a maximum of 10 other providers who have the required service listed on their profile.
