How Does Regional Pricing Work?

How Does Regional Pricing Work?

This setting allows a company to vary the prices by Country, State/Province, or Postal/Zip code.

Here are a few examples how this setting is used:

  • You want to charge clients $65/session in Manhattan and $80/session in Brooklyn
  • You want to charge clients 5 sessions at $100/session in Canada, $150/session in USA, and $120/session in Australia

Note: If you are an international company and charge different currencies for each Country that you operate in, make sure you also turn on Multiple currencies setting!

There are 2 ways to set up Regional Pricing:

1) If your company offers one-off or recurring sessions

2) If your company offers packages

1) If your company offers one-off or recurring sessions

1. Go to Regional Pricing

2. Click Add

3. Enter in Service Type, Pricing Type, Regional Price, and Notes

Pricing Type: Have the option of Country, State/Province, or Postal/Zip code

Country: Entire country at a different price (I.e Canada and US have different prices)

State/Province: State/Province at a different price (I.e Texas and California have different prices)

Postal/Zip Code: Postal/Zip code set at a different price (I.e 08009 and 14223 have different prices)

4. Click Save

2)  If your company offers packages

Before we set up the regional pricing, we must ensure that the packages are set up correctly.

1. Ensure that all Services are set up with prices

2. Go to Packages

3. Click Add

4. Select Service Type

5. Select Package Type as Percentage

Note: You must select as "Percentage," Regional pricing does not work if the package type is “Dollar”

6. Select Discount

7. Input Quantity

8. Input Description as “X sessions at [price]”

9. Click Save

[price] will refer to the price set under services.
For example:

Under Services, the admin has put 30 min swim lesson - $50

Under Packages, the description “4 sessions at [price].” [price] will refer to the price under services. This will mean that each session is $50.

If you want to offer a discount for 8 sessions, you would add a discount percentage (i.e 5%)

Under Packages, the description will be “8 sessions at [price]. The price that clients will see will be $47.50 ($50 with 5% discount)
