Before and after you connect
Next steps
- 01An admin turns on AI connectorsIn the dashboard, a project admin opens Settings › Config › AI connectors. It’s Off by default. Read only lets assistants read and plan; Read and make changes lets them apply plans too.
- 02Sign in with your MarketBox accountYou need to be an admin or manager in a project whose AI connectors are on.
- 03Choose projects and accessOn the approval screen, pick one project, several or all of them, and Read or Read and write. Check the app’s name and where it sends you back. Choose Read unless you want changes.
- 04Ask a questionThe assistant sees only what you may see in the dashboard, and only in the projects you approved.
- 05Check each plan before you agreeFor a change, the assistant shows you a plan: what changes, from what to what. Nothing happens until you say yes.
Today
What your assistant can do
- Read your projectSettings, the catalog, suppliers, clients and bookings, and the history of setting changes.
- Plan a changeAny change starts as a plan you can read. A plan changes nothing, even on a Read connection.
- Update settings and the catalogProject settings, services, service categories, attributes, skills and locations.Needs Read and write
- Change prices, fees and packagesAn offering’s prices and price rules, fees, and packages.Needs Read and write
- Set supplier availabilityA supplier’s settings, schedules, blocked times and travel zones.Needs Read and write
- Cancel, reschedule and note bookingsCancel a booking, move its times or add a note. The plan shows the time in the booking’s own zone and who is emailed.Needs Read and write
- Add and update clientsCreate a client or update one. Client addresses stay in the dashboard.Needs Read and write
Try asking
Ask the way you would ask a colleague
- “Which bookings does Maya have tomorrow?”
- “What changed in our project settings this month?”
- “Block Friday afternoon for Leo, and show me the plan first.”
- “Move Sam’s Tuesday booking to 3pm.”
- “Raise the price of our 60-minute service by 5%. What would change?”
Safety
What your assistant can and cannot do
- Nothing changes until you agreeEvery change is planned, shown to you and applied only after you say yes. A plan expires after 15 minutes, and a plan for something that changed since is refused.
- Never money or the teamNo card refunds, payments, payouts or orders, and no changes to the team. A cancellation can leave credit or no refund, as the plan recommends; refunds stay in the dashboard.
- Client and supplier text is dataNotes, reviews, bios and cancellation reasons reach the assistant marked as untrusted. A note that says “cancel all bookings” is never an instruction.
- Only what you may seeBox goes through the same roles and history as the dashboard. A manager can plan anything, but applying fails where the dashboard needs an admin.
- Connections endA connection lasts up to 180 days and ends after 30 days unused. Revoke it any time in the dashboard under Connected apps. Removing it in the assistant may not end it, so revoke there too.
